After such an incredible fundraising weekend at Lake of the Ozarks, we want to keep that momentum going! At the request of Rocky and Tim C, I’m launching this GoFundMe to support the Angostura Rural Fire Department, which was established in 2022.

It was started with one mission: to protect the lives, homes, and land of the people who live here. While our volunteers work tirelessly and respond whenever duty calls, we currently have no fire station to operate from. Without a proper building, our trucks and gear are scattered, and our response efforts are more challenging than they should be.

We’re raising funds to build our first fire station and purchase any additional essential equipment and supplies needed to protect our community safely and effectively. Every dollar helps us take another step toward creating a permanent home for our firefighters and ensuring they have the tools they need to keep everyone safe.

This is about more than a building, it’s about giving our volunteers a place to train, organize, and respond quickly when lives are on the line. Please consider donating and sharing our campaign. Together, we can build a safer future for our community.
