Hi my name is Susanne Burnett and I am fund raising for friends in Uganda.

In Uganda there are 3.5 million orphans mainly due to AIDS and violence. The only way forward for these children is through science based education, nutrition and sanitation.

Elizabeth Businge, a peasant farmer and her son, Rod Bwambale have witnessed the need and are asking for help to build an orphanage. Elizabeth had taken in orphans on her meager subsistence with no government help. Rod, a Level Four graduate, working at a Humanist school, has also witnessed the need first hand.

Through their new organization, The Kasese Youth Atheists Foundation, they want to build and run an orphanage to give these kids a fighting chance.
