My name is PhoenixSunrise and I am creating a nonprofit foundation called aBrightPlace for Survivors of child sexual abuse.

My mission is to make the World aBrightPlace for those impacted by child sexual abuse through Healing and Joy; preventing suicide, homelessness and future abuse.

Providing FREE Breathwork, Hypnotherapy, Parts Work and Fun, our participants will gain Emotional Regulation Skills to set them FREE mentally, emotionally and physically.

As a Survivor myself, I know what it's like to suffer in silence, without access to healing tools or a support system that has your back during or after the abuse.

Survivors go through life hating themselves and not wanting to live. We hate our actions and emotions because they remind us of how we weren't able to stop the abuse and how it affects every aspect of our life after. We blame ourselves for everything bad that happens, shutdown all our emotions, and self isolate, to hide from the shame of not being able to fully function. We often don't know how to feel anything fully, good or bad because we learn to suppress our emotions at an early age.

But it's not our fault, we live in a World that does not support Survivors or hold abusers accountable. We are constantly reminded that we don't matter because the people we should trust, our family or those in power, don't give us a SAFE PLACE to Heal and Feel.

Well NO MORE, aBrightPlace, will be a place where Survivors are allowed to feel, heal and learn to use our voice to break the silence that has kept us from fully living and enjoying life!
