Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh,

Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilayhi Raji’un. My beloved mum, a kind-hearted woman and mother of four, passed away on 7th December 2024 after a courageous battle with breast and brain cancer.

Her journey began in September 2020, when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Unfortunately, due to the lockdown and the delay in appointments, her diagnosis came late. By the time she received her diagnosis, the cancer had already spread to her brain. Despite her strength and resilience, she was hospitalised several times in 2024, and ultimately passed away in hospital.

To honor her memory and seek ongoing blessings for her, I am raising money to build a water well as sadaqah jariyah (continuous charity). This well will provide clean water to those in need and be a source of reward for my mum in the Hereafter, InshaAllah.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “The best charity is giving water to drink”
