On the 24th of March, I will be travelling to The Gambia for seven days to personally oversee the building of a sustainable farm that will support 15 families.
This farm will provide:
Daily food for families
Surplus crops to sell in the local market
Long-term financial stability
Independence, not dependency
Reliable water with a solar-powered well pump
Project Location (for full transparency):
This is real land, real families, and a real opportunity to create lasting change.
Where Your Donations Go
To build the farm securely and sustainably, we need:
20 rolls of fencing – £2000
Pillar posts & cement – £360
3 truckloads of sand – £290
Reinforcement rods – £100
Nails – £30
Labour costs – £350
Sprinkler System - £1980
Solar water well pump, which can provide clean water for an entire village - £1550
Every pound raised will go directly towards making this farm safe, productive, and sustainable.
If we raise anything above our target, all additional funds will go directly towards supporting the wider local community, whether that’s additional farming support, resources, or essential needs identified while I am there.
✈️ Why This Is Personal
I will be there on the ground to oversee the work, meet the families, and ensure every donation is used properly and with integrity.
This isn’t just about crops. It’s about dignity. It’s about opportunity.
It’s about giving 15 families the ability to feed themselves, earn a living, and access clean water.
How You Can Help
No amount is too small.
If you can donate — please do.
If you can’t — please share.
Together, we can grow more than food.
We can grow hope.
