The Warming Hut is a mobile, pop-up coffee trailer that I bring out to the homeless encampments of the East Bay. It stays stocked with hot beverages, warm dry clothes, sleeping bags, gloves, hats, and other amenities to help people stay comfortable in the wet winter months. We also run a space heater inside the structure to help those whose tents may have collapsed in wind or rain. Over the past seasons, we've saved a number of people from severe hypothermia by being able to meet them on site and offer immediate support.

This year, we're hoping to build a second, more spacious warming hut trailer with onboard coffee brewing capabilities. With your help, we can purchase supplies, pay for gas and towing, cover repairs, buy coffee, and eventually employ unhoused community members as baristas. Every contribution will help us expand our reach and provide warmth, comfort, and dignity to more people in need.
