Help Build a Safe Home for a Family in El Salvador
Donation protected
Imagine living with two small children, an elderly sick relative, and no safe place to call home.
This is the reality for a humble family of six in rural El Salvador, including two children, two elderly adults (one of them sick), and two daughters who work tirelessly to make ends meet. Three family members go door to door selling pupusas just to survive. Their current income is very limited, and their living conditions are heartbreaking.
They currently rent a small house that is falling apart, and the owner cannot afford to make repairs. With the rainy season making things even worse — and the road to their land almost inaccessible — it's urgent that they have a safe, stable place to live.
Thanks to a small donation, the first steps have been taken to build a simple home on a piece of land. We were able to pay a local builder $2,500 to begin the foundation. However, materials are extremely expensive, and the rain has caused delays and increased the difficulty of transporting them to the site.
We estimate a minimum of $50,000 is needed to complete a basic but dignified home for this family.
All donations will go directly toward construction materials, labor, and transportation. We are committed to transparency and will provide updates, photos, and even videos of the progress — including how your donation is making a real difference in real time.
This family has never had much, but they are kind, hardworking, and full of dignity. Let’s come together to give them something they’ve never had: a safe, dry, and stable home.
Even $5, $10, or $20 helps more than you know.
Please share, donate, and help us build hope — brick by brick.
