On the road for Shalomar 2 Journeys, One Goal

Shalomar is the name most people know us by — we’re a supported housing project for men in Sligo, run by Finisklin Housing Association CLG.

We provide a safe, stable place for men who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. It’s a quiet, respectful space where residents can get back on their feet with support and dignity.

Right now, we need to replace our kitchen — it’s old, worn out, and no longer fit for purpose. The kitchen is at the heart of the house. It’s where meals are cooked, conversations happen, and a sense of home is built. A new, functional kitchen would make a big difference to the men living here every day.

We’re asking for help from anyone who can support this project. Every euro will go directly towards building a proper kitchen for the people who need it most.
