More than a sign, this is a community work of art created by children, families, volunteers, and experienced mosaic artists under the guidance of nationally recognized mosaic artist Cynthia Fisher. Over 100 seniors/adult volunteers and 95 local students participated in the project.

Our handcrafted mosaic will welcome thousands of visitors to Shelburne Falls and celebrate the creativity, pride, and spirit of our community for generations.

The new sign is the introduction to other community mosaics in Shelburne Falls showcasing our 10 West County hilltowns and 9 RiverWalk mosaics that together reflect the character, history, and welcoming spirit of our region.

Our new community sign is 85% complete, and we're in the home stretch. Our goal is to have the new sign installed for the upcoming leaf season.

This is a short term campaign. Your donation will help cover the costs to complete and install the sign, including mosaic materials, mounting and fabrication, structural supports, transportation, site preparation, installation, landscaping, and long-term preservation so this artwork can be enjoyed for decades to come.
