Hi! If you’re reading this message, that means you're in my circle and interested in knowing more about what I would love to do on my birthday this year.

I'm raising funds to help build a house for Pak Yudi.

Pak Yudi is someone that I came across through a friend of my dad who owns a charity organisation. He is a 58-year old man currently working as a cleaner in Jakarta earning less than $5 per day. Nowadays he's struggling to work more days because of his older age and his vision impairment (he had an accident as a kid that caused one of his eyes to be impaired). He currently rents a room in an area on the outskirts of Jakarta. Due to his struggle in keeping up with his rental expense and limited income, he's forced to retire early and is planning to move back to his hometown where he inherited a plot of land (6x8m).

It would be great to be able to help provide Pak Yudi with a permanent home, so he has one less thing to worry about.

I'm very grateful for friends and family who usually takes their time to buy me cakes, flowers or gifts. This year though, it would be great if you would (instead of buying me the above) take the time to donate and help raise funds to build a house for Pak Yudi.
