Sustainable Education and Engineering Development is a group of Georgia Tech students engaging in a five year partnership with Deerwood Academy in West Atlanta to design and construct a greenhouse for use in their STEM educational programming. The greenhouse will be used as a mechanism to address food insecurity, supplying the community with fresh fruits and vegetables, and a learning center for monthly STEM demonstrations and projects led by our group of Georgia Tech students. Our design team anticipates that this project will cost $50,000 to build a greenhouse, while keeping sustainability and durability at a high priority. Donations will go towards the costs of construction and education, lasting for years to come. Help us to cultivate bright futures!
