Hello dear friends, my name is Gene Hart. I am the founder of Gnosis Cebu, a spiritual school devoted to the awakening of consciousness. Such a school may sound complex, and indeed many systems and institutions have made it so. However, authentic awakening is something profoundly simple—found not in complexity, but in the quiet depths of one’s own Being.

Our aim is not to fill the mind with ideas, but to awaken direct perception. True Gnosis is not belief, imitation, or dependence upon structure—it is the living experience of consciousness becoming aware of itself. It is something each person must verify inwardly, through observation, meditation, and sincere inner work.

Here, we emphasize what is essential: the transformation of the Ego, the cultivation of awareness, and the return to what is real within. Our role is simply to support and gently transmit these principles within a space of sincerity, compassion, and respect—so that each person may arrive at their own direct understanding, without imposition or dependency.

There is no need for complication, for truth reveals itself naturally when the mind becomes still and the heart becomes receptive.

In this way, the path is both simple and profound—simple in its essence, yet infinite in its depth. It is not something to be acquired, but something to be remembered.

My wife, our family, and our spiritual community are now raising funds to build a sacred space in the Philippines—an International Retreat Center and Healing Temple in the peaceful mountains of Cebu. This sanctuary will serve as a living center for international retreats, meditation, spiritual teachings, healing practices, and direct inner work—a place dedicated to the transformation of consciousness.

The Vision Includes:

- Land (2,000–5,000 sqm) in a natural environment (30–60 minutes from Cebu City)

- A communal kitchen and dining space

- Eco-bathrooms and outdoor showers

- A temple for prayer, meditation, and esoteric work

- Simple cottages for retreatants and international visitors

- A humble hall for classes, practices, and inner development

- Essential infrastructure (water, electricity, septic systems, etc.)

Why This Temple Matters

This is not merely a physical project—it is a living Work.

Such a space becomes a refuge from the noise of modern life, a sanctuary for the soul, and a center where individuals can reconnect with what is real within themselves. It will serve both international seekers and local Filipinos—many of whom currently have little to no access to authentic spiritual teachings.

After searching extensively for a suitable retreat location, both in the Philippines and abroad, it became clear through inner guidance that no existing place could fully support the depth and intention of this Work. The answer was simple: it must be built.

Timeline & Development

This project will unfold in stages over 1–5 years:

1. Land acquisition

2. Foundational infrastructure

3. Construction of living and sacred spaces

We are already investing everything we can into this vision. What is needed now is support to bring it fully into manifestation.

Every contribution—large or small—plays a role in building something that will serve many for years to come.

An International Sanctuary

This center is not bound by organization, identity, or outer form. It is intended to serve all sincere seekers, from all backgrounds, beyond distinction—united in the shared aim of awakening consciousness.

It will operate continuously, offering practices that can only be truly transmitted in person. This Work is not temporary—it is something we are committed to with our entire being.

A sanctuary like this becomes more than a place—it becomes a living field of energy that naturally draws those who are ready.
