Help Build A Dog Park for the Bailey's Gym Family

There are many things that set Bailey's Kickboxing Academy apart from other small kickboxing gyms. To name them all would easily exceed the text limit of this description box. But just know that in the span of a few months, I've found a family made up entirely of friends working towards a goal of learning. Everyone is welcome, treated with respect and kindness, and though our lives are hectic and schedules shift, we're excited to see one another and train together.

But that's not all. We are hardworking, skilled, passionate people from all walks of life who have one thing in common: we love our animals. I've set up this GoFundMe in order to raise funds for my gym family to finally build the dog park they've wanted since they moved to the property. Coach Bailey and Bri's dogs, Junebug and Okie, have been as welcome as any gym member since the day I stepped through the doors. After exhaustive workouts, they are the beacon of energy we all need to lighten our moods and keep us going strong. But they're not the only ones they hope to open the doors to. Many members have their own dogs at home who would like to play or relax as we do while we're in our kickboxing space. With the ever-present needs of our animals at home, some of us get our 45-minute sweat in before rushing home, saying goodbye to one family to tend to the other.

It has been regularly stated by the owners since I've joined that a dog park is a feature they'd like to build and make accessible to their members, a safe space for the dogs while we train. I want to help make this dream come true, for my kickboxing family, my own furry family, and for those future members who may just think it's pretty cool to have dogs at your gym.

What we hope to achieve:

Purchasing and installing heavy duty steel wire fencing, 4ft minimum to keep the enclosure safe for our doggos. Two rolls of 50ft fencing cost an estimate of $800. Any amount over this initial goal will go towards additional supplies such as supports, clean up stations, doggie bags, beds, treats, toys, etc for when the dogs are at the gym.
