My name is Vahn, and I’m a Boy Scout working toward my Eagle Scout rank. For my Eagle Project, I’m building a single person changing station at Trek Trails in Attero Parks. This project is close to my heart because I’ve spent a lot of time on these trails with my troop, friends, and family, and I know how much a safe, private place to change would mean to everyone who uses the area.
Trek Trails is a popular spot for mountain bikers, hikers, trail runners, and local airsoft players. Currently, people must change in their cars or outside with a blanket, which isn’t always comfortable or private. By building this changing station, I hope to make the trails more welcoming and accessible for everyone. The project is being built with the help of my family and fellow BSA troop members, all of whom are volunteering their time and effort.
We’ve already started construction, but most of the costs are coming out of our own pockets. Any support will go directly toward materials and supplies to finish the changing station as soon as possible. We’re hoping to raise the funds quickly, ideally before the 21st, so we can complete the project and provide this much-needed resource for the community.
