Help Buck and Brinley Rebuild After Tragedy
Donation protected
Imagine meeting the love of your life and believing you're going to share a lifetime together making memories, having a family, and building a life. That is how the story of Buck and Katie began 8 years ago. They met and committed to each other, having a beautiful little girl, Brinley, who they raised together. Brinley, is now a precious 5 year old, beautiful little girl who was about to begin her school education by being homeschooled by her mama. Both Brinley and Katie were so excited to start this learning chapter together. However..... Life had other plans.
About a year and a half ago, Katie began exhibiting symptoms of exhaustion all of the time stopping her from being a functional person, mommy, partner, daughter and friend. That is when Katie decided to have her breast implants removed. Despite the removal of 2 ruptured implants, Katie’s overall wellbeing never improved. About a year after the implant removal, she felt a small lump in her breast. Katie went to the doctor to get checked out and was unfortunately diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer. The cancer quickly progressed, and sadly 4 months after diagnosis, Katie passed away on July 26th at the tender age of 35 years young. Katie leaves behind her little girl who doesn't understand, devastated family and friends as well as a grief stricken Buck.
So, what happens now??
“Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you.” Psalm 143:8
During Katie's few months of battle, Buck never left her side. He went on leave from work to take care of their little girl, but also to take care of and be with his one true love. Finances (all accounts) were depleted to pay for Kaite's treatments, as well as to provide for Brinley, Buck and their 3 fur babies. Now, in the early stages of the grief, and devastation from Katie's passing, Buck has to figure out how to go on for himself, Brinley and in loving memory of Katie. But he has no money. The well is dry.
This fund is being set up to help Buck get back on his feet financially, provide for everyday expenses, and take care of Brinley as she begins kindergarten. The dream of homeschooling with her beloved mommy - Katie is gone.
In addition, a college fund, and some type of memorial in honor of Katie's memory will be set up with the additional money received. All of this can happen with your help. For right now, we're solely concerned with everyday expenses for Buck, Brinley and their pups. The ultimate goal is $50K, however, any amount that you're willing and able to give towards this fund is sincerely welcomed and appreciated. God Bless you.
