Help BSA Eagle Scout Support ISKCON of DC Temple!

The International Society for Krishna Consciousness is dedicated to celebrating a major aspect of Hinduism and to create a joyful, united community among all people! Their DC Temple is a place of worship and involvement among countless people within our region, including my own family.

I, Arjun Vijayasankar, a Life Scout in BSA's Troop 3 of Rockville, am working with ISKCON through the means of my Eagle Scout Project to improve ISKCON's ability to feed their temple-goers by building permanent seating-arrangements across the property. ISKCON weekly hosts a place for anyone to come and enjoy a meal at no cost with locally farmed food, and every time I've gone they've been gracious enough to guarantee each plate is overflowing! This will reduce the crowding issue ISKCON has due to their high participant count (a drawback of being too attractive!) and allow for more people to enjoy the Temple's benefits!

However, I alone cannot afford this project, and so I graciously accept any donation towards this means, no matter how small. I hope to raise enough to at least build a handful of sturdy seating arrangements, but the greater the donation, the more I can help! I know for a fact, from the kids I help teach each weekend through ISKCON's theatre program to the various multi-generational families I witness praying in the main hall, everyone at ISKCON can benefit from your support!
