Help Bryan Kowalec Battle Anaplastic Thyroid Cancer

Hey everyone, I’m reaching out to ask for your help. My nephew Bryan Kowalec is battling a terrible disease that came out of nowhere. He’s only 45, and this aggressive and rare form of thyroid cancer has him battling for his life.

Bryan has been diagnosed with anaplastic thyroid cancer since May. They had to remove a massive tumor the size of a grapefruit, and it took them forever to diagnose it. They finally recommended he go to the top MD Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.

On June 2nd, we packed up and embarked on a 2-day road trip to Houston in hopes of getting the help he desperately needs. If you’ve ever met Bryan, you know he’s the kindest, most loving, and funniest husband and guy I’ve ever known. He’s also an amazing father to my beautiful 9-year-old goddaughter, Violet, who is his world.

The expenses for traveling, food, and lodging, plus the stress and anxiety of this cancer, are overwhelming. They’re stuck in Houston since June 3rd, and the bills are starting to pile up.

With hopes that he can return home in a couple of weeks he will still have a battle on his hands. Treatments and scans are all part of this process to try to stay one step head of it .

Medical bills will be rolling in very soon. But All we want to do is focus on the best treatments and get the best care possible for him.
