Help Bruce and Shane Overcome Financial Hardship’s
Donation protected
Dear friends and supporters,
Hello, my name is Robert Nather and we approach you today with a blend of emotions, humbly seeking your support and kindness during a trying period for our family. As siblings, we have always relied on one another through thick and thin, and now we extend our hand to our wider family and friends for assistance.
Our brother, Bruce, along with his partner Shane, have encountered a series of setbacks that have left them in a precarious financial position. As many of you are aware, Bruce received severance from his previous employer in October 2022, following nearly 21 years of dedicated service. Despite his tireless efforts in pursuing employment opportunities, he has faced repeated rejections. The severance package, initially a relief, has unfortunately resulted in an unexpected tax burden that he is unable to bear. Moreover, the state of Texas has yet to fulfill the unemployment benefits owed to him, further exacerbating their financial strain.
Shane, who works as a freelance floral designer, has also encountered challenges in securing stable employment, compounded by the recent loss of his mother last July.
Their troubles escalated when, amidst a gap in their insurance coverage and as Shane was in the process of enrolling in a marketplace program, he found himself hospitalized for nearly a week. The diagnosis revealed diabetes and diverticulitis, placing additional strain on their already fragile finances.
Furthermore, their sole means of transportation, vital for job interviews and medical appointments, required significant repairs, stretching their already tight budget even thinner. They've been forced to deplete their savings, including dipping into a modest 401k, just to stay afloat. Their credit cards are maxed out, and their bank accounts are drained.
We turn to you, our community, for assistance in helping Bruce and Shane weather this storm. Your donations will provide them with the relief necessary to cover essential expenses such as rent, medical bills, and car repairs, enabling them to focus on rebuilding their lives.
Your compassion and generosity will not only offer immediate relief but will also instill hope and encouragement during this trying time. We are grateful for any contribution, no matter the size, as each contribution makes a meaningful difference in their lives.
Thank you for considering our plea and for standing with us in solidarity. Together, we can support Bruce and Shane as they navigate through these challenges and emerge stronger than before.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Robert and Evon Nather
