Theses funds are being raised to help organize legal representation and community action for Brookwood and the surrounding areas as we stand against data centers. Our community is coming together because we believe these projects could have a lasting impact on the place we call home, and we need the resources to respond in a serious and organized way. One of our biggest concerns is the lack of transparency around these developments. The mayor, along with other city officials, has signed NDAs, and that has left many residents feeling shut out of important conversations that affect our community. We believe our neighbors deserve clear information, honest communication, and a real voice in what happens here.

This effort is about making sure our residents have access to legal guidance and the ability to meet, plan, and stand together. The funds from this fundraiser will help cover attorney fees (25k retainer), community meetings, and outreach efforts so we can keep our neighbors informed and involved. Every contribution will help us build a stronger response for Brookwood and nearby communities that are facing this challenge together.
