With a heavy heart, I am creating this fundraiser on behalf of Brooklynn, the fiancé of Jared Joachim, who has experienced a tragic unexpected loss late last week creating both unimaginable heartbreak but also unexpected financial hardships.

Just weeks before their wedding in Zion National Park, Brooklynn’s fiancé, Jared, tragically passed away from injuries sustained from a car accident on his way to work. They lived together and were building their future side by side in every aspect.

Why I'm Asking for Help

In the midst of deep grief, Brooklynn is now carrying an overwhelming financial burden. She has lost not only her partner but also her car, and over half of their shared income she is now responsible for solely. The emotional toll is already more than anyone should have to bear at 20 years old and now she’s also facing the sole responsibilities of their household bills, moving costs as she navigates the next steps without her partner and expenses related to breaking their lease, as well as the loss of her only mode of transportation.

This fundraiser will give Brooklynn the breathing room and will help her stay afloat over the next couple of months while she begins the long road of healing and rebuilding.
