My name is Brook, and the past year and half has been the hardest of my life. I lost my farm to the Helene flood, with only my service dog Sweetpea left and nowhere else to turn, I put everything I had into buying a bus. This bus is not just our home, it has become our safe place and my hope and dream for starting over. Sweetpea and I are trying to recover the best we know how.

Unfortunately, , as someone living with a disability, still waiting for SSI and struggling to find resources for income, I simply can't afford the daily gas, the maintenance, the insurance and the desperately needed repairs to the roof and the transmission along with bad brakes. The bus isn't just a vehicle—it's my shelter and my only way to get to the doctor’s appointments I need in order to secure my disability benefits. Without it, I would have nowhere to go and no way to move forward. I need help to cover the costs that are piling up inching closer to us loosing everything all over again.

If it wasn't for the kindness of strangers Sweetpea and i wouldn't have made it through all the loses.
