Help a Mother of 6 Relocate from a Mold-Infested Home

Hello, my name is Brittany, and I’m a proud mother of six beautiful children. I’m reaching out during one of the most difficult times my family has faced. We've recently discovered there is dangerous mold in our home, which has caused us to be sick on and off throughout the year. Despite this, our landlord has refused to fix the issue or help us relocate.

We were shocked to learn on July 3rd that we have less than two weeks to vacate the property, and unfortunately, we have nowhere to go. I’ve contacted Legal Aid, but we are on a waiting list with no immediate help available.

I am currently between jobs—my last contract just ended, and my next one doesn’t begin for another three weeks. While I work hard to provide for my family, I do not have the funds right now to cover the moving expenses, security deposit, and first month's rent required to get us into a safe and healthy home.

We’re asking for help to raise $8,000 to cover these costs. Anything you can give—no matter how small—will make a huge difference in helping us find safe housing for my children and me.
