I recently graduated from the University of South Carolina and am organizing an effort to support the unhoused community in New York City.
As temperatures continue to drop and homelessness continues to rise, I’ve felt a growing urgency to do something tangible. No one should have to face winter without warmth, or basic necessities.
I’m assembling care packages that include blankets and essential items to help meet basic needs during the winter months. Each package is designed to offer comfort, warmth, and a reminder that someone is thinking about them.
Funds raised will go toward purchasing supplies for care packages, shipping costs to get items to NYC, and laundromat fees to ensure everything is clean and ready for distribution.
Any contribution helps make these packages possible and directly supports people who need it most. Thank you for being part of this effort.
