Nagtegaal Family Adoption

As you may know, our dear friends the Nagtegaal’s- made up of Mark, Caroline, Lize and Kailey (plus a bunch of beautiful cows, a dog, goats, sheep and chickens) have been in the process of adopting.

They felt called into adoption about 8 years ago and more specifically to adopt from the country of Haiti. Since they have begun the process of adopting a sibling set they have been waiting... and waiting... and waiting! The beginning of 2021 brought some movement and exciting news with the announcement of a match to their 2 children! However due to our worlds pandemic and the social and political unrest that is Haiti- any more movement has been stagnant.

 

As we have journeyed alongside our friends these past several years we have seen the strong conviction to their calling in both adoption and farming. They are some of the hardest working people I have ever met and they are a testament to a strong faith in God. Our family has been blessed by their extreme love and generosity, as I am sure many of you have been too!

 

As you may know adoption is VERY expensive and with COVID and all the new travelling restrictions, plus the dangers in Haiti right now costs have been rising drastically.
