Meet Robert and Starr Jenkins: local parents and employees of @Chick fil A Morehead City who are dreaming of homeownership and a place to provide stability for their four children, Bobby (8), Savannah ( 6), Amiyah (5) and Isabella (4). Our local @Crystal Coast Habitat for Humanity chapter is currently building this deserving family a place to call home on Lincoln Drive in Newport, and they need help. We know that the MCKRE community – our clients, friends and family - are always ready to provide support to those in need, and supporting the Jenkins’ build through Habitat is a great opportunity!  

This week, our team will be on-site at the Jenkins’ project for our MCKRE Gives 2nd Annual Habitat for Humanity Build, to begin framing their new home.  We have an opportunity for you to help too, with a funds match we’re offering through our community initiative, MCKRE Gives. MCKRE Gives is dedicated to supporting local non-profit organizations and those who make a difference in Carteret County. In addition to hands-on service, we donate $100 from each closing to a local non-profit or organization in honor of our buyers and sellers. In effort to have the strongest impact we can for the Jenkins family, THIS Wednesday, September 29th through Thursday, September 30th, we will be matching donations made to build their house, up to $3,000. 

Over those 48 hours, our goal is to collectively raise $6,000 for the Jenkins' project.
