In January 2026, I will be traveling to Makhanda, South Africa to volunteer at the Holy Cross School STEM Camp—a week-long program that inspires young students through hands-on learning in robotics, engineering, and other STEM fields.
This camp launched in 2023 with the support of the nonprofit Love Must Act, and I am proud to say this will be my third year volunteering. The program makes a life-changing difference for students, many of whom don’t have regular access to STEM resources in their schools. Each day, students rotate through stations filled with action-packed experiments, problem-solving challenges, and mentorship that builds their confidence and creativity.
I’ll be joining a team of volunteers from different universities, bringing supplies and knowledge to help deliver these workshops.
To make this possible, I’m raising funds to cover:
-Round-trip flights to South Africa
-Educational supplies and teaching materials for camp activities
