We're a passionate community group - Cold Therapy Collective - of outdoor swimmers who believe in the power of cold water therapy to boost both physical and mental wellbeing.

Many people face barriers to accessing cold water therapy and outdoor swimming, including lack of knowledge about safety, limited access to suitable locations and concerns about cold exposure. For some, equipment needs, anxiety and isolation or a fear of the unknown can also be obstacles. By providing guidance, support and safe, welcoming sessions, we, along with The Cold Water Therapist, aim to break down these barriers and open the benefits of outdoor swimming to everyone.

To help more people safely experience the potential benefits, we're raising funds for safety-led sessions that teach essential skills and confidence in open water as well as creating communities of safe swimmers and dippers.

We are frequently approached by charitable organisations seeking sessions for their service users, but many do not have the funding to support this. To make these sessions possible, we actively fundraise to cover the costs of qualified staff, essential safety equipment participants can keep and meet any additional expenses required.
