My name is Isis, and I’m Pedro’s wife. I’m heartbroken to share that something we feared deeply happened last night — Pedro was abruptly detained by ICE while at work. They came in through the back and arrested him along with some of his coworkers.

As many of you know, we’ve been working hard on Pedro’s immigration case for over a year. Unfortunately, legal representation and filing fees are extremely expensive, and right now, our family is overwhelmed — emotionally and financially.

Pedro has been my only source of income. He’s supported me and helped keep little household afloat, even as I’ve been building a small business that doesn’t yet bring in much. Without him, it’s incredibly difficult to manage the basics — let alone the high costs of legal defense.

Pedro is a loving husband, brother, son, friend, and an important part of our family and community. We are doing everything we can to fight for his release and keep our family together, but we can’t do it alone.

We are asking for your help — any amount you can give will go directly toward legal fees to fight Pedro’s freedom and help bring him home.

Me llamo Isis y soy la esposa de Pedro. Con el corazón en la mano, les comparto algo que siempre temimos y que tristemente pasó anoche: Pedro fue detenido inesperadamente por ICE mientras trabajaba. Entraron por la parte de atrás y se lo llevaron, junto con algunos de sus compañeros.

Como muchos saben, llevamos más de un año trabajando arduamente en el caso de inmigración de Pedro. Lamentablemente, los honorarios legales y los costos de los trámites son muy elevados, y en este momento, nuestra familia se siente abrumada — tanto emocional como económicamente.

Pedro ha sido nuestro único sostén económico. Ha mantenido nuestro hogar y me ha apoyado mientras intento levantar un pequeño negocio que aún no genera lo suficiente. Sin él, se nos está haciendo muy difícil cubrir los gastos básicos, y mucho más aún los legales.

Pedro es un esposo amoroso, hermano, hijo, amigo y una parte muy importante de nuestra familia y comunidad. Estamos haciendo todo lo posible por lograr su liberación y mantener a nuestra familia unida, pero no podemos solos.

Por eso les pedimos su ayuda: cualquier cantidad que puedan aportar irá directamente a los gastos legales para luchar por la libertad de Pedro y traerlo de regreso a casa.
