I’d never thought I’d have to come on here and ask for help, but today I am.

This is Pedro a devoted husband, father, brother, son, uncle, and grandfather. My father is a hardworking man of strong character who has always been the backbone of our family. He has consistently fulfilled his responsibilities, including paying his taxes, and has lived his life with integrity. He is a loving father, a caring son, and, above all, the best grandfather in the world. I could go on endlessly about the kind of man my father is, because he truly is exceptional. His absence has been deeply felt, and he is dearly missed by all of us.

On the morning of September 16, 2025, my father attended a scheduled appointment with his attorneys to continue the process of obtaining his residency. During this meeting, he was unexpectedly detained by ICE. My father was following all legal procedures and doing everything the right way. Since that day, our family has made every possible effort to bring him back home, but the process has been incredibly difficult. His court dates continue to be postponed, making an already painful situation feel like a never-ending nightmare. Knowing how eager my father is to regain his freedom has been especially heartbreaking for our family.

Desde ese día, nuestra familia ha hecho todo lo posible para traerlo de vuelta a casa, pero el proceso ha sido increíblemente difícil. Sus citas en la corte siguen posponiéndose, haciendo que una situación ya dolorosa se sienta como una pesadilla interminable. Saber lo ansioso que está mi padre por recuperar su libertad ha sido especialmente desgarrador para nuestra familia.
