Help Bring Pablo Home Before Baby Arrives

From Melissa "Dayse" Gonzalez:

On January 12th, 2026, my husband Pablo Guaman, daughter Jenifer, and I were driving home from a prenatal check when our car was suddenly blocked by two vehicles. ICE agents rushed out, opened our doors, and dragged Pablo out of the car. Despite our pleas and showing our valid work permits, they tackled Pablo to the ground, injuring his arm, and took him into custody. He shouted, 'my wife is pregnant, please don't hurt her,' but they didn't listen.

After two hours, my daughter and I were released, but Pablo was kept in custody and transferred to a facility in Texas. Since then, I haven’t heard from him, and ICE has not allowed him to call home. I found out where he is by searching the ICE system, but we are left in the dark and deeply worried.

Pablo is the head of our household, and his absence has left us struggling. I am eight months pregnant and unable to work. We have no preparations for our baby boy, who is due between February 15th and 18th. My daughter hopes to name him Isaac Jacob, but we have nothing ready—no clothes, no basic items.

The stress and exhaustion have been overwhelming; I haven’t slept in three nights, and I’ve cried so much my eyes are swollen. I feel lost without Pablo and am desperate to bring him home before our son arrives. We urgently need help to cover the immigration bond, legal fees, travel costs to bring Pablo back, rent for February, and essentials for our baby.

Your support would be an answer to our prayers and would help reunite our family in this critical moment. Please help us bring Pablo home so he can be with us to welcome our son into the world. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a life-changing difference for our family. Thank you for your kindness and support.
