Hello Friends,

To those who know me, this might come as a surprise. I rarely speak about my personal life or ask for help. For those who don’t, let me introduce myself.

I’m Helen, a Welsh woman deeply in love with my amazing Wife Kaylah, who lives in Florida, USA.

We met by chance while i was on vacation and from that moment everything changed. Since then, we have built our relationship across the ocean with countless video calls, visits, laughter, tears and dreams of building a life together. I can honestly say neither of us has ever been happier. But right now, those dreams are on hold.

Kaylah has epilepsy, which already brings daily challenges. Recently, things have become even harder. In her state she has been made to feel unsafe and suffered abuse simply because of who she loves and who she is, facing prejudice and hostility for her sexuality. No one should have to live in fear in their own home. It breaks my heart to know she is experiencing this and that I cannot be there in person to protect and support her.

We both know the UK would offer her a safer and more supportive environment where she could manage her health and live openly and proudly as herself. But the visa process is expensive. The application fees, legal documents and related costs are more than we can afford right now.

We are doing everything we can: selling belongings I no longer need or can do without, taking on extra work and using my creative skills to raise extra money. But we cannot do it alone.

Our goal is to raise £3,000 to support with bringing Kaylah to the UK so we can continue our life together, in person, safely. Every single pound will go directly towards making that happen by directly covering the cost of the visa to bring her to the UK including the NHS surcharge fee and any associated lawyer fees etc.

If 150 kind hearts donate £20 we would make our goal. My faith in humanity is at an all time low right now after whats happened to Kay, If you can find it in your heart to donate you'd be helping to remind me the world is also filled with kind souls who want to support other and stop things like this abuse happening.
