In June of 2025, my sister’s life changed forever when she suffered a severe stroke. After rushing her to the hospital, doctors discovered a massive blood clot in her head that required emergency surgery. The swelling was so severe that they couldn’t immediately replace part of her scalp, and today, she is undergoing another surgery in hopes of improving her mental status and reducing her hallucinations. Unfortunately, the stroke left her paralyzed, and she will never walk or work again. She now needs round-the-clock care, every day of the week.

Right now, my sister is in a nursing home, but the conditions are heartbreaking. She isn’t receiving the care or dignity she deserves, and it’s painful to see her in such an environment. My greatest wish is to bring her home, where she can be surrounded by love and receive the attention she needs. To do this, I need to find a suitable, wheelchair-accessible house that will allow me to care for her safely and comfortably.
