My name is Mauricio Lopez Garcia JR, and I’m raising funds to help my dad, Mauricio, who is currently detained by ICE and being moved to Texas. My dad has always been the head of our family—a hardworking, responsible man who made sure there was always food on the table and the bills were paid. He’s the kind of person who would help anyone in need, no matter the situation. His absence has left a huge gap in our lives, especially for my younger brothers, who ask every day when they’ll see their dad again.

Since my dad was detained, our family has been struggling emotionally and financially. He was the head of our household, and without him, it’s been hard to keep up with daily life. We miss him deeply and worry about how he’s doing. Every day is a challenge, and it’s heartbreaking to see my brothers cry and ask for him. We’re doing everything we can to stay strong, but we need help to bring him home.
