Hi guys, I'm not the person who usually ask for help, especially when it comes to money, but this time I'm pretty desperate and don't know what else to do.
I'm a dog trainer and have completed all my courses and qualification training with my Bonnie, a beautiful American staffy. Going through this intense training, we developed an incredible bond. We have been travelling together from Argentina to Germany, we explored various European countries and then we were meant to come to Australia together.
So, I moved to Australia almost three years ago believing that my beautiful baby girl Bonnie would have come over just after me....but Covid hit and she found herself stuck in Berlin, where she was with my ex boyfriend.
After a few months, he had to take a repatriation flight to Colombia and had to take Bonnie with him. Unfortunately, Colombia is not an approved country for the importation of animals to Australia.... so we had to develop a new plan. We sent Bonnie from Colombia to Argentina (where a friend is taking care of her). While trying to save as much as possible, I started collecting all the needed documents and medical exams using a broker for the last six months.
Meanwhile, I found out to be pregnant and just two months ago I had to pay AUD$10k for my permanent residency in Australia. All those expenses came at once and drained a good part of my savings. Now I just received a new quote from the broker telling me that ticket prices skyrocketed in the last few years due to Covid..... and now it will cost me about AUD$18k to bring my baby home instead of AUD$10k.
I have tried to get a loan to pay for it, but the bank wouldn't approve it as I'm between visas. The family is helping with what they can, but it's still not enough.
I'm really out of options, and I need to put together this money quickly. Otherwise, I will need to start the whole process over again, and it will cost even more.
I hope that someone will be so kind to donate, even just a few dollars, to finally be able to hug my Bonnie again after almost three years.
Thank you for being so kind.
Camila and Bonnie
