My baby was born 23 days early due to late pregnancy complications, and it has been a whirlwind of emotions and challenges ever since. I have always been someone who is self-sufficient and worked as much as my body allowed throughout my pregnancy, but everything changed when I needed accommodations at work and was released from my position. This was my first full-term pregnancy, and I was doing my best to prepare for my baby's arrival, but everything happened much sooner than expected. My baby is currently in the New Born Intensive Care Unit, and I have only been able to hold him once due to hospital rules that are in place to protect him while he heals and grows stronger. He is showing so much strength, and I am hopeful that he will be able to come home soon. However, I want to make sure that when that day comes, I have a safe and comfortable home for him to come home to. I thought I had a few more weeks to find work and save up for a new place, but now I am on a much tighter timeline.

The funds raised will go directly towards covering the unexpected medical bills for my baby’s care, as well as helping me relocate into a new home for us. I am also recovering from an emergency cesarean section and managing my own health, including medications for Preeclampsia. It’s not easy for me to ask for help, but I am truly grateful for any support that can help me bring my baby home and start our life together in a safe and stable environment.
