I never imagined needing to ask for help like this, but here we are—humbly reaching out for support during a very difficult time. My boyfriend, Mike, is currently incarcerated due to back pay child support. This is not a situation of avoiding responsibility—rather, the result of financial hardship and circumstances that became overwhelming. Being in jail only makes it harder for him to work, earn income, and actually pay what is owed. He was not given a bond and the judge has ordered he pay the full amount of backpay before he is released.


The funds raised through this GoFundMe will go directly toward Mike's release so he can continue to work and provide for his children. He has two other sons who need him and that he provides for as well. Those of you who know Mike know he is a good father who loves his children deeply and wants nothing more than the opportunity to work, provide, and be present in their lives.
