Hello all. My dad was detained by ICE on Wednesday, August 13 2025. We are incredibly saddened that a person that we hold so close and dear to us is being detained. Our father — our provider, protector, a pastor, a friend and the heart of our family, was taken and is being detained. We are still in shock and trying to process what happened, but we know we have to act quickly to bring him home and keep our family together. We know that by the grace of God, he will come back to us.

Our dad has always worked hard to provide for us, never asking for anything in return. He has been a loving husband, a devoted father, and an important part of our community. Now, without him here, our family might be facing emotional and financial hardship. Bills, rent, and legal fees will begin to pile up, so we are looking at the future of this case.

The funds from this GoFundMe will go directly toward legal fees to fight for our dad’s release and immigration case and basic living expenses while our main source of income is gone.
