A 16th-century cave beneath the streets of Mansfield has sat empty for over 10 years.

We're bringing it back to life.

Hi, we're Tommy and Sarah.

For the past few months we've been building a retro gaming business from the ground up.

Between working full-time jobs and running live Whatnot shows several nights a week, we've been slowly growing something we're incredibly proud of.

Now we're taking the biggest step yet!

We've been given the opportunity to bring an incredible part of Mansfield's history back to life.

Hidden beneath White Lion Yard lies a series of caves dating back to 1584 (definitely some ghosts .) Over the centuries they've served many purposes, most recently as a restaurant, then a pub, but for the last ten years they've sat empty.

We're changing that.
Our vision is to create far more than just a retro gaming shop.

We're building a place where people can meet, play tabletop games, discover retro gaming, browse collectibles and books, and simply spend time with like-minded people. Somewhere that feels welcoming whether you're 10 or 70.
Everything we're building is being funded by ourselves.

We haven't taken out a business loan, we don't have outside investors, and every pound we're making through our Whatnot business is going straight back into making this dream a reality.

It will happen.

It may simply take a little longer.

If you'd like to help us create something truly special for Mansfield a little sooner, we'd be incredibly grateful for any support. Bringing this amazing historic location back to life.

With so much to do, we want to make sure this is something special for everyone. It begins with renovation, pulling out the old industrial Kitching, updating and working on the toilets, walk ways and internals as well as externals.

We'll continue documenting every stage of the renovation so everyone can see exactly how the project is coming together.

There is absolutely no pressure to donate. Even following the journey, sharing our videos or visiting us when we open means the world to us.

Whether it's £1 or £100, every contribution helps us buy materials, furniture, gaming tables, shelving, lighting and everything else needed to transform these historic caves into something special.

As a thank you, everyone who contributes will become a permanent part of the shop. We'll create a wall of recognition where every supporter who wishes to be included will have their name beautifully hand-painted as a lasting reminder that this community helped build something special.

This isn't just our shop. We hope it becomes Mansfield's gaming community home.

Thank you for believing in us.
