My oldest son, Lucca, is an incredible and resilient young man. He lives with autism, Tourette’s Syndrome, bipolar disorder, anxiety, sensory processing challenges, and features of schizophrenia—but those diagnoses don’t define him. At his core, Lucca is loving, affectionate, and full of light. He has a contagious laugh, a playful spirit, and a way of finding joy in the simplest moments—especially when he’s with the people who love him.

For the past nine years, since the challenges of puberty began, Lucca has been in and out of group homes. While these settings provide structure and support, they have never truly felt like home. Too often, it feels like he’s surviving instead of living—his days shaped by systems rather than by what brings him comfort, connection, and happiness.

So we are taking a leap of faith and following our hearts—we are bringing Lucca HOME. Lucca’s father, now retired, is ready to devote himself fully to caring for his son. Together, we want to create a safe, stable, and loving environment where Lucca can finally thrive—where his needs come first, where he is understood, and where his life is centered around dignity, comfort, and joy. This is more than a move—it’s the foundation for a completely new chapter in Lucca’s life.

The reality is, this transition comes with significant financial challenges. Securing the right home and creating a safe environment for Lucca requires resources we simply can’t manage alone. Every dollar raised will go directly toward making this home possible—providing the stability, safety, and care Lucca deserves.

Bringing Lucca home means giving him the chance to live in the least restrictive, most loving environment possible—surrounded by family, patience, and unconditional support. It means giving him not just care, but a life filled with connection, understanding, and moments of real joy.
