My newborn granddaughter was removed from the UNM Hospital NICU on August 14, 2024, without a court order and without any emergency or imminent danger. CYFD did not seek judicial authorization until five days later, and the ex parte order was not issued until eight days after the removal. Neither the child’s mother nor any family member was notified of or allowed to attend that hearing.

Since the removal, CYFD has:

Denied the family notice and meaningful participation

Ignored a pre-arranged kinship care plan

Made false or unverified statements in court filings

Misrepresented participation in a court-recommended program

Issued a foster/kinship placement denial containing demonstrably false allegations

I have supporting documentation, including hospital records, court filings, timelines, program verification, and the written denial letter.

Multiple family-law attorneys have declined to review this matter solely because CYFD is involved. I am therefore seeking civil rights counsel experienced with government misconduct, due-process violations, and potential claims under Section 1983 and/or the New Mexico Civil Rights Act.

Hi, my name is Elizabeth Ramirez. I'm begging everyone that has babies or family that you love dearly to help me bring my 16-month-old baby girl, Lillyana Jade Sisneros, home finally.
