My name is Ariel Olivares and I’m raising money to help bring Leo home.

On Friday, August 22, Leo was going to his scheduled probation appointment. From there, he was detained by ICE and has been in their custody since.

This is not our first time dealing with this situation. Three years ago, we were in this same situation when he was taken from us all because of a misinterpreted situation. We were able to barely manage him being gone, but this time is different. He has his work permit, social, driver's license, and he is going through the steps he is being told to do to reach residency.

He has had legal counsel for the past three years, and she is doing everything she can this time around, but it will still take another bond to get him out of ICE custody again. This will also help our little family, as he is our main provider and without him we don’t know what we will do. We cannot even begin the process to get him out without having the $2,000 for the lawyer, and we want him home as quickly as possible.
