Help Bring Leia Home: A Mother’s Fight for Custody

Hello, my name is Christina, and I’m reaching out to you during one of the hardest times in my life. I am fighting to bring my daughter, Leia, back home where she belongs—with her mother and her big sister, Sofia.

Before Leia’s father left, I was a stay-at-home mom, and he was the one taking care of our household expenses. When he took Leia and left, he didn’t just leave me heartbroken—he left me with an eviction notice, overdue gas and energy bills, and no way to keep up. The weight of it all was crushing, but by the grace of God, I was able to find work and get the bills paid—just enough to keep us afloat.

However, even though I am now working and managing to cover basic living expenses, the cost of securing a lawyer and paying for court fees to regain custody of Leia is something I just can’t manage on my own. The legal process is long, expensive, and daunting, but I will do whatever it takes to get Leia back into a stable and loving home. She deserves to grow up surrounded by her family—especially her big sister, Sofia, who misses her terribly.
