On April 16, Aldijana and Aldin Djerahovic gave birth to their beautiful daughter Lajla. Unfortunately, she was born with a cleft palate. Cleft lips or platates can cause many problems during feeding, speech and can even cause hearing loss. It is crucial that Lajla get’s treatment now while she is young.
The Djerahovic family’s lives were turned upside down as they live in Bosnia and have to travel to Croatia for an expensive surgery. Not only has the surgery and travel become a financial burden but there has been immense emotional strain on the family.
We, as friends of the family are asking that you help bring Lajla’s smile to life and help with a small portion of the financial burden.
