I created this fundraiser on the behalf of Kendra and her daughter Alana; Lets come together and put an end to all parents(a mother's) nightmare! July 5th marks 3 years of Alana being taken from her mother. When you hear a child has been taken from their mom, your mind goes through the unthinkable. There had to have been a reason, right? No... Kendra chose to follow God. She has been on a faith journey for quite some time, trusting God and His word, relying day by day solely on simple needs (What, Who, and Where the Lord leads) and being obedient. This lifestyle came with judgment, dictatorship, threats, and an ultimatum that was given only seconds to decide. Choosing a different way of living every day has not been easy to endure; it takes a strong one, a disciplined one, a healed someone to say yes each day for 8 years, and that is not cause for punishment. Kendra prayed to God for Alana to be born (her twin), forced to work—even through God's instructions, also at times having to bring Alana along at her workplace, "faith without works is dead." Trusting that she could leave Alana with the father, he left. Kendra made it home one day to find her baby laying in her own blood (dog attack). Kendra was crushed, heartbroken, and desperate for God to come through, and He did! By His grace, Babygirl survived, and CPS (Louisiana) granted Kendra custody, the only reason they did not take her then. She raised her alone for 7 years, homeschooled, breastfed (3). Still having all faith in God, Kendra has been in a waiting period and fighting and praying through the pain, there isn't a single day that goes by that your mommy won't take time out of her journey to remember something about our sweet kid! Now Alana is going on 9 years old, the abuse that Kendra endured is now toward her daughter and they're being kept apart out of spite. She needs: Lawyers(Legal Fees) Community, and Prayer. Alana needs her mother. Kendra continues to be positive and hopeful, knowing "All of this had to happen, and it is for bigger reasons than we can explain... but trust me, it is and will always work together for our good" (Romans 8:28). Please help reunite this mother and daughter.
