Help Bring KA Soccer to Life in CS2!

Hello, everyone! We are a passionate group of gamers and developers raising funds to bring back the classic Counter-Strike: Source mod, KA Soccer, and reimagine it for CS2. This mod holds a special place in our hearts—it’s more than just a game. For many of us, KA Soccer was where we made lifelong friends, shared countless hours of fun, and built an unforgettable community. It’s a nostalgic piece of gaming history that we want to preserve and revitalize for a new generation of players.

We all grew up playing KA Soccer, whether it was in leagues or just goofing around in caps with our friends. The laughter, the celebrations, the nail-biting finishes—we can’t count the number of cherished memories tied to this game mode. Those leagues and competitions, where people spent hours perfecting their shots and strategies, created bonds that lasted beyond the game itself.

Why Is This Project So Important?

KA Soccer isn’t just a unique game mode—it’s a one-of-a-kind experience that blends the thrill of soccer with the competitive nature of Counter-Strike. There’s truly nothing else like it! For years, players have enjoyed the fast-paced matches, teamwork, and creativity that this mod offered. We all grew up playing it, and many of our cherished gaming memories are tied to scoring incredible goals or pulling off amazing saves with friends we met in this very mod.

Unfortunately, with the transition to newer platforms, KA Soccer was left behind. Our goal is to bring it back, enhance it with modern graphics, and ensure it plays seamlessly on CS2, so both long-time fans and new players can enjoy this beloved game mode once again.

How Will the Funds Be Used?

Our total project cost is estimated between $1,500 and $3,000. However, thanks to careful planning and generous contributions already made, we’ve managed to reduce our fundraising goal to just $1,000. Your donations will go directly towards:

Ball & Ball Physics: Designing, modelling, and perfecting the ball physics to ensure it feels just like the original, but even better.

Map Design: Recreating the iconic stadiums, goal nets, and player models with enhanced visuals and layouts that capture the classic KA Soccer atmosphere.

Additional Features: Introducing new cosmetic items, animations, and interactive mechanics that will make the experience more engaging than ever.
