Hi, my name is Alexis, and I’m asking for help to bring my husband, Julio, home to our family.

Julio has been in Mexico since July 4th for his visa process. What we hoped would be quick turned into months of waiting — including 8 weeks after doctors suspected tuberculosis during his medical exam (which thankfully came back negative). After his second appointment on the Oct. 31st, he was placed in administrative processing, but we just got news that he is finally approved as of Thursday December 4th.

Julio has been staying in Juarez since October 30th, paying $60 a day for an apartment. This wait has been hard financially and emotionally. We have 4 daughters, and I was previously a stay-at-home mom — but with Julio gone, I had to start working to keep us afloat. Even with that, we now need help covering his stay and the travel costs to bring him home.

We are so close to reuniting our family again. Anything — a donation or even a share — means the world to us. Thank you from our hearts. ❤️
