Bring Joy to Underprivileged Children in South Africa

Hi! We're Benji and Jolien — currently living in Valencia and working at Helloprint. This July, we’re heading to Motherwell, South Africa to volunteer at the inspiring Thamsanqa Foundation — and we’d love your support.

In the heart of the township of Motherwell, many children grow up in homes marked by poverty, violence, illness and neglect. Life is tough, and the burden on these young shoulders is far too heavy. But there is hope.

Thamsanqa is a grassroots organization building a brighter, safer future through child-focused programs.

Where Do We Come In?

School holidays can be a dangerous time for vulnerable children. With no structure, they’re left to face isolation, and the growing influence of crime and gang culture.

We’re joining Thamsanqa to deliver something better:

A fun, safe, and meaningful holiday activity program — filled with sports, art, games, social workshops, and simple joys that make all the difference.

How You Can Help

Thamsanqa's budget is focused on essentials like food, housing, and school fees. While these are vital, they leave little room for the “extras” — the kind of moments that truly enrich a child’s life.

We’re raising funds to help make this holiday program unforgettable. We’ve worked closely with the Thamsanqa team to identify what’s most needed. Here’s where your support will go:

Transport costs so all kids can safely attend. €700

Full Transparency

All funds will be personally managed by Thamsanqa to ensure every euro goes where it’s most needed. We’ll also share updates, photos, and stories so you can see your impact in action.
