My name is Clarisa, I’m asking for help during one of the hardest moments our family has ever faced. A few days ago my husband Josue was detained by ICE while he was simply on his way to work. This has

been an incredibly difficult and unexpected situation for our family, and I am now facing the challenge of caring for our newborn daughter and toddler on my own. I am still recovering from childbirth while trying to stay strong for our children and to keep some sense of normal life for them. The emotional and financial strain has been overwhelming without Josue here.

Josue is a humble man who, like many others, came to this country hoping to build a better future for his family. Since arriving, he has worked diligently and honestly, always doing his best to support us. He has stayed out of trouble and has always acted with integrity and strong moral values. Those who know him can attest to his character and dedication as a father. Our children miss him very much and we are doing everything we can to fight for him and bring him home!

We have started this fundraiser to help cover the legal fees needed to fight his case and to cover essential living costs for our family during this unexpected and painful situation. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a real difference for our family.
