Jose is a kind and loving father, husband, and grandfather who has been a source of laughter and support for our family. Since coming to the United States in 1996, he has built a life centered around caring for his loved ones and friends. Jose is always ready with a joke or a helping hand, and his absence has left a noticeable gap in our daily lives.

Recently, Jose was detained by ICE, and our family has been struggling without him. His spouse, grandchildren and family miss him deeply, and the emotional toll has been heavy. We are doing our best to stay strong, but it’s hard to feel whole when such an important part of our family is missing.
