Help Bring James Home
On November 12, 2022, James Harmon’s life changed forever when he suffered a devastating stroke. In those early days, it was very challenging and difficult— but through strength, determination, and the power of prayer, James has pulled through.
For nearly three years now, James has been living in a rehabilitation and nursing facility, working every day toward healing. But while his spirit remains strong, the journey has been long, costly and living away from his wife and family has taken an emotional toll.
Now, we have a chance to bring James home.
We are in the process of moving to West Virginia and purchasing a house. The house can be adapted to meet James’s needs, with ADA-compliant renovations (including a walk-in shower) that will allow him to move freely, safely, and with dignity. Most importantly, it would allow him to continue his recovery at home — surrounded by love, comfort, and his wife by his side.
We are asking for your help to raise $40,000 to cover the costs associated with purchasing a home, medical bills that weren't covered from the onset, moving expenses and essential renovations. These funds will allow James to finally leave the nursing facility and begin the next chapter of healing in a home he can call his own.
Every donation, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to reuniting James with his family in a safe and loving environment. If you can’t donate, please consider sharing this campaign with your network — it means the world to us.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your support.
